With a lag of a few days, I wanted to document here the festive ambience at my work on occasion of the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival, which was this year on September 29, just ahead of another very pompous appointed date, the National Day of China (first of October), that involves a full 8-day holiday (which, with beautiful weather these days, has been remarkably enjoyable…).
In our work, we warmed up the spirits last week with a dilettantish basketball competition. My team did horribly, but I saved its honour performing as its most valuable player (!!) with 5 or 6 baskets in total (out of 10 attempts), including this spectacular ending series of three consecutive master strokes!:
