In this trip of May 2023 to Guizhou province, just as in our 2020 one to Hubei province, we visited a village to be shown the developments of a rural revitalisation project, and, just as back then, I could glimpse here some examples of related mural art, the kind of officially promoted murals “with Chinese characteristics”, included some belonging to a traditional pottery furnace the activity of which has been boosted by the new flux of tourists to the area.
