I have spent this last month repeating (I did part of it… SIX years ago! during my prostration after a horrible sciatica attack, but then interrupted it…) my first steps on the path of Western calligraphy: the Roman skeleton, the geometry and proportions of the Roman capitals, that the novice calligrapher is due to practice firstly only by pencil, only then, when sufficiently familiarized, with pen and ink… This time I am undertaking it truly in earnest:
