China mural art

So far, I can only recall to have seen something vaguely resembling mural art once in China, here in Peking (this prompts me the idea of getting there one day with my iPhone and see if there is still something and is worth photographing!).

Recently, though, I have been on an institutional trip (8-13 November) with colleagues from my work to various places of Hubei province, reaching at last Wuhan. On the 10th of November we visited the CR Hope Town, a project of rural revitalization in Hong’an County where we visited an organic hydroponic vegetable garden. And here I could see a few nice murals with an expressive approach quite Chinese in character, somehow dissimilar to those I have so far documented in Reykjavík and Waterford:
