I took he above picture on the 29th of September of 2016 of this very recently accomplished mural by Don John for the 2016 edition of Wall Poetry, inspired by the Swedish female rapper Silvana Imam’s album Naturkraft. Located at Nýlendugata 27.
House renovation perhaps (new tenants…?), or maybe even a more widespread vague of urban refurbishing in the area (you see the works in progress at the back), made for this rather changed image on the 29th of October of 2018 (the thing lived for only two years or less):
